The Hyrum Saddle Club started the first of two nights of rodeo tonight at the Hyrum Rodeo Grounds. The event is sanctioned by the Rocky Mountain Professional Rodeo Association and featured stock contractor Broken Heart Rodeo Company.
The rodeo continues at the Hyrum Rodeo Grounds tomorrow night, June 27, at 7 p.m. and costs $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 3 to 11.
The rodeo is just one of many events offered by Hyrum City as part of the Star Spangled Celebration 2009. The celebration features a Patriotic Program June 28 with Congressman Jim Mattheson and music by the Imperial Glee Club.
