Utah State University’s Caine College of the Arts will present its third annual Dean’s Convocation featuring keynote speaker Robert Blocker, dean of the Yale School of Music. The convocation will be held on Wednesday, October 3 at 12 noon in the Performance Hall on the Logan campus.
Craig Jessop, dean of the Caine College of the Arts at USU, said this is a spectacular opportunity to gather together as a college and as a community and celebrate the start of a new academic year.
He said Robert Blocker is one of America’s preeminent academic and artistic administrators on the national scene today. Regarded internationally as a concert pianist, Jessop says Blocker’s leadership as an advocate for the arts and his extraordinary contributions to music are celebrated globally.
