Winn named Assistant Athletics Director at USU

LOGAN, Utah – Jeremy Winn has been named an Assistant Athletics Director for Development/Major Gifts within the Utah State University Athletics Department it was announced Tuesday. In his new position, Winn will focus on major gifts and specific fundraising projects for Aggie Athletics.

“Jeremy has worked hard to develop a comprehensive skill set and has been working with athletic development since his days as a USU undergraduate,” said Kent Stanley, Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development. “He has a background in ticketing, fund raising events and donor stewardship. He has terrific intra-personal skills, great focus, and is very relationship-oriented. Moving into his new role as a major gift officer, we expect Jeremy to have tremendous success fund raising as our donors spend time with him.”

Prior to his current position, Winn spent the 2012-13 academic year as the Assistant Development Director for Utah State Athletics working with Aggie golf tournaments and the Aggie Auction. Winn also spent one year as a graduate assistant in the USU Ticket Office and was the ASUSU Athletics Vice President during the 2009-10 academic year.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to continue my career with Utah State Athletics,” said Winn. “It’s a privilege to spend each day building Aggie Athletics for the future and working with all of the generous donors to pave the way for student-athletes to succeed on the field and in the classroom.”

A native of Taylorsville, Utah, Winn graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies in 2010. He also received his masters of business administration from USU in 2012.
