Tremonton motorcycle accident

TREMONTON – A motorcycle accident in Tremonton sent one man to the hospital Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol, Timothy Williams was riding east on I-84 near Tremonton when he lost control on the off-ramp, near milepost 40. The bike drifted to the left onto the shoulder of the off-ramp.

UHP said it appeared Williams tried to correct the bike but lost control and tipped it onto it’s side.

Williams was ejected and transported to Bear River Hospital. He was later airlifted to McKay Dee Hospital with serious leg and torso injuries.

Williams was wearing a helmet and was able to communicate with troopers as he was being treated. Speed did not appear to be a factor but the crash is still under investigation.
