Best of the Blotter: Aug 7-9

<strong>Fri Aug 09</strong> An elderly man called 911 to have a 16 year old juvenile arrested for stealing an apple from his apple tree. I spoke to both parties and no arrests were made.

<strong>Fri Aug 09</strong> Report of a suspicious incident involving a bottle and tin foil. Request for more patrol during the early morning hours.

<strong>Wed Aug 07</strong> Officer met the complainant at 1000 West and 1000 North and received the bat that they had put into a box. I drove to a remote location behind Gossner’s Cheese Factory and released the bat into the wild. The bat flew to a near by tree and disappeared.

<strong>Wed Aug 07</strong> I contacted the complainant who was not happy with the way her brother was talking to her. The complainant instigated the incident and was told not to talk to her brother the way she was if she didn’t want him to talk back to her in the same manner.

<strong>Wed Aug 07</strong> Officers responded to a Noise Complaint on the report of individuals running through sprinklers and being noisy.
