12th annual Yard Sale to benefit homeless dogs and cats

Four Paws Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that is dedicated to helping homeless dogs and cats. Since 2000, Four Paws has been rescuing stray and abandoned cats, dogs, puppies and kittens from high-kill shelters, placing them in caring foster homes (if available) and then adopting them into loving, life-long homes.

They are holding their 12th annual Yard Sale this Friday and Saturday, June 23rd and 24th at 274 East 100 South in Logan, right across the street from Merlin Olsen Park. If you have items you’d like to donate you can drop them off at that location.

Buddy Smith, from Four Paws, was on KVNU’s For the People program on Friday and said you’ll find some good stuff at the sale.

“There’s clothing and there’s furniture. One item (is) a ping pong table right now and there’s a number of aquariums, dog collars, of course, books and CD’s.   Items are still continually being dropped off,” according to Smith.

The hours for the yard sale are Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monetary donations are accepted, too.
