Four Cache Valley Hospital nurses are among about 30 caregivers MountainStar Healthcare has deployed to Florida and Texas to areas hard-hit by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

Chelsea Jepsen, Chani McOmber, Colette Low and Amanda Neibergall flew to Florida Tuesday and for two weeks will provide critical care at an HCA Hospital. They are helping to take care of patients who were evacuated or transferred from hospitals in high-risk areas prior to Hurricane Irma making landfall.

Hundreds of HCA staff members in both states have been displaced from their homes or sustained significant personal hardship.

HCA Healthcare is sending medical supplies and pharmaceuticals to its facilities in both states.

HCA also announced Aug. 30 a donation of $1 million to the American Red Cross.
