Logan’s Ghost Tour will focus on historic theater district

Haunted structures, night time spirits and eerie stories await your arrival this Halloween season in Historic Downtown Logan. Downtown Alliance Director Gary Saxton says you will have a chance to learn about downtown’s most infamous ghosts, poltergeists and spirits doomed to the realm of mortals.

He says your private walking tour will take you into the heart of Logan’s haunted history as you visit sites with the Bridgerland Storytelling Guild and Green Wolf Productions.

“With the announcement of the new historic theater district in downtown we thought we would play on that,” Saxton explains, “and celebrate a theater ghost tour.

“So our stories this year will be in that arena. I think people will enjoy the new locations we have this year and the new stories.”

Saxton says each guided tour lasts approximately two hours and walking distance is less than half-a-mile. Tours run nightly between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays in October (6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, and 28).

He says the tour is technically a family-friendly tour but it is not recommended for small children or for people who do not like to be scared.

Tour reservations are required online at www.logandowntown.org. The event sells out every year and tickets are only $10. For more information, call (435) 752-2161 ext. 4.
