<p class=”p1″><span class=”s1″>Every year Utah’s Lieutenant Governor Spencer Cox recognizes three Utahns with the Power of Service award and the 2017 honorees include Linda Keith of North Logan.</span></p><p class=”p1″><span class=”s1″>Linda is a longtime volunteer with the Senior and Community Volunteer Program, part of Utah State University’s Center for Persons With Disabilities. </span></p><p class=”p1″><span class=”s1″>She is a self-described “gabber” who enjoys talking to people whether she is delivering </span><span class=”s2″>Meals on Wheels</span><span class=”s1″>, staffing the store at </span><span class=”s2″>Global Village Gifts</span><span class=”s1″> or driving the Veteran’s Administration van to Salt Lake City.</span></p><p class=”p1″><span class=”s1″>Rodney Pack, the Senior & Community Volunteer Coordinator at the CPD, said Keith feels strongly about giving back and has always been willing to help.</span></p><p class=”p1″><span class=”s1″>The Senior and Community Volunteer Program recently moved its focus around education with several service opportunities available.</span></p>
