LOGAN – It’s easy to capture the Christmas spirit if you make a trip to Zootah, formerly known as Willow Park Zoo.

Zoo director Troy Cooper said this is the second year for lights at the zoo and the number of lights has increased by about 40,000. He said the public is invited to come each Monday, Friday and Saturday during the Christmas season from 6 to 8 p.m.

“Santa is going to be in his workshop for families to come,” he said. “He’ll talk to the kids and have photos taken with him as well. When Santa is here the reindeer are usually out so they can take a picture with him and the reindeer.”

Cooper said the popular Reindeer Trek will be held this weekend and next. He said the reindeer are a great attraction and you can always find something good to eat as well.
