LOGAN — The Cache County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a young man who left a home in River Heights on Wednesday, and has not been seen or heard of since. Kyle Burton is 18-years-old and could possibly be wearing a red t-shirt, shorts, or blue jeans, and black Adidas shoes.

In a press release, Sheriff Chad Jensen said Burton is from Lovell, Wyoming, and had been staying with a local family for the past couple weeks. He reportedly left Wednesday morning on foot, without a coat or cell phone.

The family told deputies, Burton likes the outdoors and hiking in the local canyons. They describe him as being 5’10” and 210 lbs. He has brown hair, blue eyes, and is friendly, but quiet and shy. He also has a surgery scar on his left knee.

Jensen said the Sheriff’s Office conducted a reverse 911 call, asking local residents to watch for Burton. They have also been passing out flyers and going door-to-door in the neighborhood.

Burton’s family has also been assisting in the search efforts, providing horses and outdoor equipment.

Jensen said, if anyone has seen Burton or has any other information, contact the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 435-755-1100.
