LOGAN — A 36-year-old Millville woman, who is already suspected of trying to help another woman attempt suicide, was arrested again after allegedly breaking into a home and stealing medication.

Teresa Clark was booked into the Cache County Jail Monday night on suspicion of burglary, theft and possession of prescription drugs. She is being held on $12,630 bail.

Cache County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Matt Billodeau said Clark is believed to have broken into a relative’s home earlier this year. She allegedly stole the pills and attempted to sell them for money.

Clark is expected to be arraigned in 1st District Court Thursday. Formal charges have not been filed yet, pending the investigation.

In June, police allege that Clark called 911 from a Logan hotel room. She told police that she had found her friend unresponsive inside the room. Officers later determined that she had tried to help the woman take her life several times unsuccessfully.

Inside the hotel room, detectives also found two dogs that were deceased. It is believed that Clark was also responsible for their deaths.

State attorneys later charged her with two counts of attempted aggravated murder, a first-degree felony, conspiracy to commit aggravated murder, a second-degree felony, and two misdemeanors for aggravated cruelty to animals.

In September, a judge released Clark on pre-trial probation. The case has been delayed after the victim died from an unrelated matter, and attorneys argued the relevance of the charges.
