Rhodes, a social worker, files for Cache County Council to help others

Shannon Rhodes does social work and hospice care as a living and she says it makes her feel good when she can help make lives better.

A resident of Hyde Park, Rhodes says she has decided to file for a seat on the Cache County Council where some of her skills could be helpful.

“I’m out in the valley a lot,” Rhodes says, “just going into people’s homes and listening to what concerns them, hearing their concerns. A lot of people are wanting to see change take place.

“I figured if you want change I guess you need to be the change. I though it would be a great experience to run and see what happens.”

She says she is fortunate to live in a community where the people care for each other.
