CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — The Latest on a fatal shooting in Casper (all times local):
7:55 p.m.
Authorities have released the name of a man who was shot to death in Casper over the weekend.
The Casper Star-Tribune <a target=”—blank” href=”http://trib.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/coroner-identifies-man-killed-in-casper-shooting/article%E2%80%943ef3c395-83c5-554b-99ee-706a9560a790.html”>reports</a> 49-year-old Troy Mabbitt was shot Sunday afternoon and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Police Sgt. Mike Ogden says investigators know the identity and location of the shooter but have not yet made any arrests. He declined to release details about the circumstances of the shooting or say why the shooter is not in custody.
Two people were taken into custody Sunday but have since been released.

A 49-year-old man was shot and killed in Casper over the weekend and police say the shooter has not been arrested.
Sgt. Mike Ogden tells KTWO-AM that Sunday afternoon’s shooting remains under investigation. The victim’s name has not been released.
Ogden says several people were involved in the incident, but he would not confirm whether a fight occurred before the shooting. He says officials know who the shooter is, but he is not in custody.
Police are working with the Natrona County attorney’s office regarding any potential criminal charges.
