Sunshine Terrace hosting a program for remembering loved ones

LOGAN – May is a month for remembering people we love who are no longer with us.

Amy Anderson, spiritual counselor for Sunshine Terrace Foundation, said each spring the Terrace has a program where people come together for music, reflection and a roll call for those we love.

“It’s free, it is open to all who have lost somebody they love and we encourage people to come,” she said. “They submit the name of the individual and during the event we do read those names, ring a chime, there is music playing. It’s just a good way for us to acknowledge our loss and acknowledge the people we love.”

Anderson said the program is Monday, May 14 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. near the courtyard of the Sunshine Terrace Foundation’s main entrance. Everyone is invited to attend.
