PROVIDENCE – A city well is back in service two weeks after a fluctuation in electrical power caused the pump motor to stop functioning, according to a release by Providence City. Residents of Providence were asked on Thursday, June 14 to slow the use of culinary water for lawn and garden use while the city stopped watering its lawn altogether.
The city was able to get water for is residents from the Spring Creek Water Company, one of two irrigation companies in Providence. According to a press release from Drew, there was no impact on the shareholders of the company because there was sufficient water coming out of the canyon.
Residents are still being asked to be prudent with their water use. Drew thanked Spring Creek Water Company for its assistance. The city’s press release can be viewed here: PRwater062818
