The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber

Mountain Crest High School celebrates the 70th birthday of Broadway musical genius Andrew Lloyd Webber with a musical concert featuring some of his greatest shows. The concert is Thursday at 7 at Mountain Crest in Hyrum.

Spring Logan Home Show

To see the latest in design, remodeling, lifestyle and home automation, check out the Logan Home Show this Friday and Saturday at the Cache County Events Center. Doors open at 10 a.m. both days.

Bear Lake Monster Winterfest

This weekend is the 10th annual Bear Lake Monster Winterfest. It begins with the Monster Winterfest Kick-off Party Friday night, then there is a full schedule of events on Saturday, including a Monster Plunge, Chili Cook-off, Cisco tournament and a lot more.

American Piano Duo & BYU Percussion Duo

Friday evening Caine College of the Arts department of music presents American Piano Duo and BYU Percussion Duo. The free concert is at 7:30 p.m. in the Performance Hall.

Science Unwrapped: Microscopic

USU’s Science Unwrapped celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, and on Friday they present “Microscopic.” A USU professor will explain how microscopic organisms have influenced major historical events.

Bridal Faire

In one day, in one place you can talk to hundreds of professionals for ideas to plan the perfect wedding. Bridal Faire is Saturday at the Riverwoods Conference Center and begins at 10 a.m.

Home Run Dads

Home Run Dads is a free, five-session course that teaches relationship, parenting and financial skills for fathers, or father-figures. The first of five sessions begins this Saturday and registration is required.

Write at the Logan Library

Are you an aspiring author? The 3rd annual Write at the Logan Library is for you! It’s an all day workshop on Saturday featuring presenting authors who will share their experiences about the art of writing.

USU basketball

The USU women’s basketball team hosts New Mexico in the Spectrum Saturday afternoon. The game begins at 2 p.m. Go Aggies!

Living Legends

Brigham Young University’s Living Legends celebrates the Latin American, Native American and Polynesian cultures at the Ellen Eccles Theatre Saturday night at 7 p.m. It’s a cultural experience you won’t want to miss.

Young Adult Devotional

On Sunday, Elder Gary E. Stevenson will be speaking at the USU Spectrum at 6 p.m. The valley-wide devotional is for young adults 18-30 years old, married or single. Doors open at 5.

Holocaust Remembrance Day

All across the world – on one day – movie theaters, synagogues, churches, mosques, universities, museums and community centers will show the movie “Who Will Write Our History.” You can be a part of this international Holocaust Remembrance Day event in Logan at the Megaplex Theaters at University Stadium. The movie will be screened at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
