55places.com is a resource for active adult communities that learned from a recent survey that many retirees are looking for smaller cities in which to enjoy retirement.
Sean Keeley of 55places.com said the website rated Logan first on its list after evaluating cost of living facts, local housing data and other quality of life scores.
“We also incorporated some kind of common sense ranking criteria like making sure we’re looking at places with low crime rates,” Keeley explained, “and that were more walkable and easier to get around, and things that would appeal to retirees. We put all that together and Logan came out as the clear number one on our list.”
In summarizing Logan’s #1 rating, the website praised the city’s extensive park system, proximity to forests, mountains and snowsports plus a renowned performing art and museum scene.
Looks like a nothing website…primarily a place to find a real estate agent and a retirement community from what I saw. No mention of Logan in my brief visit. This article is more like an advertisement for 55places.com and Cache Valley Daily should pull it in my opinion.
Agreed, having the link directly to the article would be very helpful. I to searched with no success to read what else was said about beautiful Cache Valley.
We do love it here. Best neighbors and affordable. Pablo is correct about these publication types however. Read the magazines and they are so cluttered with
advertisements you struggle to find articles making them worth reading.
Again however, great neighbors. Don’t even need a snow shovel.
