Kathryn Johnson Hendrickson

March 29, 1944 ~ June 17, 2019

Kathryn Johnson Hendrickson, 75 passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of June 17, 2019 at her home. She was born March 29, 1944 in Logan, Utah to Joseph Hyrum Johnson and Lou Miles Johnson.

She was schooled throughout the Cache Valley while living in Young Ward and graduated from South Cache High School in 1962. While in the valley, she met and later married Don Hendrickson. From their union and several moves throughout different states, they gained five sons: Ron, Gary, Randy, Joey, Marvin and one daughter Sherri. After finally choosing to settle in Brigham City and a long marriage, they later divorced.

Mom had many hobbies which included playing softball, watching Nascar races, crocheting, ceramics, traveling, etc. and anytime she got to spend with family.

Kathy held a few small jobs before finally settling into a cook position at Pioneer Care Center for 20 plus years before medical issues caused her to step away from her job.

Kathy is survived by her children: Ron Hendrickson, Billings, MT; Randy Hendrickson, Lebanon, OR; Marvin Hendrickson, Brigham City, UT; Sherri (Michael) Worl, Brigham City, UT sister Bette Krambule, brothers: Robert and Phillip; 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was known as “Mom” or “H” to select others, you know who you are and she loved you.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Joey and Gary, sisters: Ruby and Gay, brothers: Paul, Richard and Brian, two half-sisters, and brother-in-law Larry Krambule.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 24, 2019 at 11:00am at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, UT. A viewing will be held Monday from 9:00 to 10:40am at the Mortuary.

Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.

Mom, you had us at our first heartbeat, we have you in our hearts forever and always, we love you.
