Author: Eric Frandsen
Eric is a native of Cache Valley and grew up in Providence. He attended Providence Elementary, Spring Creek Middle School, South Cache and Mountain Crest High School where he graduated in 1994. Wanting to follow in the footsteps of his Utah Broadcasters Hall of Fame father, Eric knew he wanted to learn more about the broadcast industry. He attended Brigham Young University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Business Management. After graduating in 2001, Eric interned at KUTV Channel 2 in Salt Lake City, worked for the minor league hockey team Utah Grizzlies, and the 2002 Winter Olympics and 2002 Winter Paralympics in Salt Lake City. Eric joined the Cache Valley Media Group in the spring of 2002 as a reporter and, over time, has collected many other job titles. He is married to his sweetheart M’Lisa (a Bountiful High and University of Utah grad, but he doesn’t hold that against her) and has four beautiful children.
