Free FluMist clinic Tuesday night

By Jennie Christensen

Logan Regional Hospital is holding a free H1N1 FluMist ONLY clinic tonight. It will be held between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Logan Regional Hospital Women's Center at 500 East 1400 North.

FluMist is the trademark name for a quick nasal spray version of the H1N1 vaccine. H1N1 FluMist is not for everyone, according to Jill Parker of the Bear River Health Department.

Parker says this vaccine is approved and recommended for healthy people who are from two to 24 years of age, are from 25 to 48 years of age and live with or care for infants younger than six months or are health care or emergency medical personnel.

Updates on the arrival and availability of the H1N1 flu vaccine may always be found at www.brhd.org.
