Got to love the home court advantage. That is why players play for certain teams in any sport. I know many at the "Lord's University" would be upset, but oh well, if the fans at BYU weren't so interesting in talking with their future "eternal companion" instead of cheering for their team maybe they would have some home court advantage down in provo. Plus I know the BYU fans are upset that their hockey team has been beaten so many times by the Aggie Hockey Team

USU has top 5 Engineering Programs in the nation, and EXCELLENT Business School, an excellent Arts program, and so much more. USU is the best education in Utah. We USU fans have as much right to support our team as anyone else. What makes us different is that we actually do. Are the signs offensive? Heck Yes, they are supposed to be so we can screw with the other team, hopefully distract them to give our team a true home court advantage (any we do this to everybody, the cougs aren't somehow special whatever they might think of themselves). Thanks for the compliment! We here at USU appreciate you calling us classless. We don't go to the games and cheer to make friends with the opposing team. We do what we can to get into the other teams head in order to provide our own team with a better chance to win. I would have to say its working. Wouldn't you also?

I spent all 4 of my college years at BYU. The first year was hard, I probably agreed with a lot of the people who thought everyone was self righteous, and whatever else you want to say. After about a year, I realised it took way too much time worrying about how some of the students and teachers can be. I ended up loving it! Its all about your attitude and the way you view things. I made the best of it. If you can't do that, you have a long life ahead of you in any situation! Get new material.

You know it's comming. The first step might just be getting rid of the athletics like they did at Ricks. With the internet, and media these days, it's just not worth it to have the embarring things that occur with having a sports program. Fans write and say things that are against the gospel, players do things that are stupid. I had a scholarship at BYU and AM a worthy member. I chose NOT to go because when I visited there, I noticed a large percentage of people who followed the honor code during school but then completely ignored it when they went off campus or during the summers. I don't need an honor code to the live the standards. At Utah State, people are honest about who they are, and they don't change depending on their location. And for BYU fans who say they "don't care about Utah State," you're in denial.

We went through all this last year after the USU crowd dominated the BYU's at ESA. BYU people saying how the BYU game is a biggest game for USU so they get up for it. Local media in SLC commented about how the USU section looked like a raucous party, and the BYU section looked like they were watching an FHE lesson. Then they followed up saying that's how the Spectrum is every game, not just for BYU. Face it, USU is the best college b-ball environment in the state. One of the best nationally.

The fact that Aggie fans care so much about this victory (enough to make all those signs reminiscent of jr. high) proves two things: 1) there's too little to do in Logan; 2) USU's program isn't as advanced as I thought it was if beating BYU is such a big deal. BYU really isn't that good.

Yeah, we know BYU doesn't care about Aggies, BYU hates winning. Just ask Max Hall, he ruined the capstone game of his career with ridiculous comments. Nobody will remember him for the quality of his game, but how much he hates the U. When BYU isn't losing, they complain about winning. You just can't ever be happy can you?
