LOGAN - Utah State University will be an idle-free campus celebrating "Idle Free Awareness Month" during this month of September. Idle Free Utah is a collaboration of state, municipal and private organizations working to reduce vehicle idling time across the state.

USU adopted a new policy to become an idle-free campus in July 2012. According to the USU Sustainability Council, idle reduction is a great way to save money, breathe easier and protect the environment.
