LOGAN — A 30-year-old Logan man has waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to four charges of unlawful sexual conduct with a teenage girl, a third-degree felony.
Jacob L. Patterson appeared in 1st District Court Monday afternoon.
State attorney Jacob Gordon said Patterson allegedly met the girl online and had a relationship with her between October 2013 and August 2014.
Following an investigation by the Logan City Police Department, charges were filed earlier this year in January.
During Monday’s court appearance Judge Brandon Maynard set a pretrial conference date and ordered Patterson to again August 31.
