Investigation continues into North Logan burglaries

LOGAN — The North Park Police Department has several people of interest, believed to have been involved in several burglaries in North Logan, early Monday morning.

Sgt. John Seamons said they do not have a specific suspect yet but are monitoring several people’s activities. Investigators are also hoping for surveillance video that might identify who burglarized four homes near Elk Ridge Park, 2500 North 1060 East.

Some of the items reported stolen include laptops, TVs, video game systems and bicycles. Police believe the items were stolen from the homes Monday morning between 1 and 5 a.m.

Monday night several wallets were also reported stolen from cars near the park. Seamons said police have recovered some of those wallets and believe the thefts are related to the earlier burglaries.

Seamons said investigators are monitoring pawn shops and online classified sites for any of the stolen items to show up. Anyone with information is asked to call the North Park Police Department.
