Search for missing teen expands into Cache Valley

LOGAN – Friends and family of a missing 16-year-old Utah County girl are widening their search into Cache Valley. Indica Huddleston was last seen on Friday, August 16 in Alpine at approximately 5 p.m. She is described as being 5’3″ tall with long brown hair, hazel eyes and weighing approximately 128 pounds.

According to Haylee Pettis, a family friend, Huddleston left a note at her home on Friday afternoon after she had been in an argument with her parents about school. In essence, the note simply stated that she would be taken care of.

Family and friends believe that Huddleston may be with an older individual and are concerned for her safety. After reviewing Huddleston’s recent activity on Facebook, they had seen that she had been having conversations with some people in Logan.

The family has been working with local police and even the FBI to try and locate Huddleston. A Facebook page has also been set up to provide updated information and additional details about her and the search to find her. If anyone has seen Indica or has information about her whereabouts, they are encouraged to contact the Lone Peak Police Department at (801) 756-9800.
