Public invited to USU’s ‘Battle of the Scientists’ Thursday, Nov. 6

All ages are invited to enjoy thrilling science demonstrations at USU’s “Battle of the Scientists: Chemists vs. Physicists” Thursday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. in the Eccles Science Learning Center Auditorium. Admission is free.

LOGAN, UT – All are invited to enjoyed thrilling science demonstrations Thursday, Nov. 6, during Utah State University’s Student Science Council “Battle of the Scientists: Chemists vs. Physicists.” The action starts at 7 p.m. in the Eccles Science Learning Center Emert Auditorium, Room 130, on campus. All ages are welcome and admission is free.

“We invite the Cache Valley community to come out and join us as we celebrate USU Science Week,” says Mikayla Mills, USU Student Association science senator. “This is a chance for Aggie scientists to show off and inspire young scientists.”

USU’s student chapter of the American Chemical Society, known as the “USU Chem Club” will vie with the USU chapter of the Society of Physics Students to present the most exciting demos. Learning activities and refreshments follow the program.

Parking for the event is available in the surface parking lot south of Old Main and in the university parking terraces at 700 East 600 North and 850 East 700 North.
