Utah State football player arrested

Ronald Butler, 22, arrested and booked into the Cache County Jail on charges of driving under the influence and improper lane change, both class B misdemeanors.

LOGAN — Police arrested Utah State football player, Ronald Butler early Sunday morning for driving under the influence.

Police records show the 22-year-old Butler was arrested and booked into the Cache County Jail on charges of driving under the influence and improper lane change, both class B misdemeanors.

He was released from jail after posting a $1,490 bail.

Butler is originally from Jersey City, New Jersey and is entering his senior year with the team. During his junior year, as wide receiver he played 13 games, finishing the season with 24 receptions for 346 yards and three touchdowns.
