Cache Valley Center for the Arts to host gallery walk at Summerfest

The Summerfest Art Faire will be celebrating its 30th anniversary when it opens tomorrow on the Logan Tabernacle grounds with its food, music and art from as far away as Florida.

Executive Director Debbie Dinton said there are special features for all ages  from children to seniors. Dinton said this year some of the art will come from high schools – including Fast Forward and Mountain Crest – and they will also be part of Friday’s gallery walk.

“The Cache Valley Center for the arts hosts gallery walk every second month on the second friday, and this year they’ve decided to do it at Summerfest,” Dinton said. “So the gallery walk maps will be available as usual but they will be highlighting Summerfest artists. You will have a chance to go and a chance to vote for your favorite artists at Summerfest as part of that as well. We’ll have what we’re calling the People’s Choice award.”

Dinton said admission is free at Summerfest, which runs through Saturday, June 15.
