Special event planned for caregivers

“A Fresh Perspective on Caregiving.” That’s what you can expect if you attend an event hosted by the Cache County Caregivers Coalition on Thursday, April 24. Booths at the new Cache Valley Adult Care Center, 1488 North 200 West in Logan will open at 5:30 p.m. and the evening includes a dessert cook-off along with door prizes.

Coalition committee member Jessica Tarbet says the speeches range from Perspective of the Care Recipient to Art Therapy.

“Part of it is that it’s an opportunity to come together,” Tarbet explains. “It’s an opportunity to meet other people who are in the same situation, or a harder situation or an easier situation and all talk and collaborate and see what is out there, so you feel like you’re not alone.”
