Chrysler Dealer Forced to Change Business Plan

John Weese got the word last Thursday. The owner of Weese Motors, a dual dealership located in Tremonton, Weese got a letter from Chrysler indicating he would no longer be selling Chrysler vehicles after June 9th.Weese also learned that Chrysler would not be taking back any of his inventory and he has a lot of that. So what now? Weese says he has to change his business plan and put the major focus on his other dealerships, Ford, Lincoln and Mercury.”I really feel that in the end I’m going to be a stronger dealership, one that will be able to offer all brands and a deep selection of each,” Weese says. “Right now it’s a bitter pill to swallow, there are some feelings. But I think in the end Weese Motors and Ford-Lincoln-Mercury is going to offer a great situation.”Weese says he is selling his large inventory of Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep at deep discounts to move the vehicles off his lot. Weese made the comments on KVNU’s For the People program Tuesday night.
