He made it. Well known mountain climber, Bruce Parker, made it to the top of the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest, Friday at about 10 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. Still on oxygen and understandably very tired, Parker told his wife Janet that the weather was a bit dicey at the summit: cloudy, windy and very cold.Despite the conditions, the Logan man said he felt good and his wife says he sounded good to her. Parker’s been gone since March 25th and now he says he has a long, steep descent ahead of him that could be very dangerous as well. Parker has now made it to all seven of the world’s highest mountains.
