Cache Valley is surviving the economic recession much better than the rest of the state or the nation according to Sandy Emile, CEO of the Cache Chamber of Commerce. Emile says the Chamber has a lot of tools to help businesses make smart choices during this difficult time.Emile says the Chamber has put together a Cache Business Resource Center that has been proving extremely helpful to businesses both large and small. She says the workshops at the Center are free or they are offered for $15.”And for that you get a three-hour workshop, you go home with tools, you get resources to call back so as you’re addressing the problems you have somebody to mentor with you on how to get through some of the issues,” says Emile.Today at the Cache Business Resource Center the Bank of Utah is sponsoring a free workshop on “Accountable Organization.” On Wednesday there are two workshops. “Advanced Twitter” is $15 and runs from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. in Room 1826 of the BATC West Campus. Another workshop on “Quick Books” will run from 6:30 to 8:30 Wednesday in Room 1826. For information or registration call 213-8713.
