As a result of the 2010 Census, Utah will be re-districted and some say that when that happened 10 years ago Utah became the most gerrymandered state in the country. Hoping to prevent that from happening again a so-called Fair Boundaries organization has formed. Fair Boundaries volunteer leader Glenn Wright will be speaking at a meeting of Cache County Democrats Saturday at 9 a.m. at party headquarters, 232 South Main, Logan. Local Fair Boundaries volunteer Kathy Snyder says the bipartisan group is planning a ballot initiative that would propose a process where a commission would be created to redraw the boundaries that would preserve communities and promote fair and balanced elections.
