Weather forces USU women’s football clinic indoors

Due to inclement weather, Utah State’s football free football clinic for women will be moved indoors.Registration will be on the first floor of the Jim and Carol Laub Athletics-Academics Complex before moving up to the second floor to the Randy and Becky Spetman Auditorium. Action will then shift to the Stan Laub Indoor Practice Facility.The clinic, sponsored by America First Credit Union, is designed to teach participants football skills, techniques and the ins-and-outs of the game.Participants will also have the opportunity to meet the new Aggie football coaching staff, along with selected players.The clinic is free to participate, but donations will be accepted to benefit the Logan Community Abuse Prevention Services Agency (CAPSA) chapter.Check-in and registration begins at 6 p.m. with the clinic starting at 6:30 p.m. The clinic is open to all women 14 years of age and older. Admission is free and there will be a drawing for prizes.Participants should come dressed ready to be active and are encouraged to enter Jim and Carol Laub Athletics-Academics Complex from the northwest doors.For pre-registration or for more information, contact the USU Athletics Office at 435-797-1850.
