Former Utah First Lady Jackie Leavitt has won an award for her efforts in helping to create the Internet Keep Safe Coalition.The organization teaches children about Internet safety and gives parents, educators and policymakers information to teach children about the safe and healthy use of technology. Leavitt was one of 10 people chosen to receive the “Leaders in Learning” award which is presented on behalf of cable television providers.She was honored at a ceremony Wednesday at the Washington Court Hotel in Washington D.C.
