A Wellsville husband and wife are facing charges of doctor shopping. Police reports state that 40-year-old Chad Christenson and his 39-year-old wife, Krista, visited multiple doctors with the intent of receiving prescription drugs. The Cache-Rich Drug Task Force reports they received information of the criminal activity and initiated an investigation. It was discovered that Krista Christenson had reportedly visited six doctors, and her husband visited two. The couple has been charged with a combined nine third-degree felony charges of fraudulently obtaining a controlled substance. They will face the charges in 1st District Court. The Cache-Rich Drug Task Force is a multi-district agency comprised of officers from the Cache County Sheriff’s Office, the Logan City Police Department and other agencies throughout Cache and Rich counties.
