Summerfest Arts Faire opens today

One of the highlights of a Cache Valley summer opens today on Logan’s Tabernacle Square: The Summerfest Arts Faire. Several art and food vendors already had their tents set up by Wednesday evening and more will set up throughout the day today as 122 artists in total from all over the west will show off and sell their work. Marianne Sidwell, director of Summerfest, said the featured artist this year is Cache Valley’s own Shawn Wallis, who was commissioned to do an oil painting of Summerfest itself. The family-friendly fair will also feature about 20 food vendors, quality entertainment of many different genres, and lots of activities for kids including a bubble tower.
