Cache HAZMAT crews responded Wednesday afternoon to a major propane leak in Cornish, but by 2:30 p.m., the incident was mostly handled. At about 1:45 emergency crews were called to 13458 N. 4500 West in Cornish on a report of an 18,000-gallon propane tank leaking. Some homes in the area were evacuated and several roads were closed as a precaution. Crews were able to close the valve on the propane tank and no damage, injuries or any other incidents were reported as a result of the event.
