June rain has been bad for Utah’s fruit

Farmers say heavy rains and hail in June damaged Utah’s fruit crops. Utah State University extension ageant Mike Pace says too much rain can cause ripening fruit to split and rupture. Some farmers say their crops have also been hit by fungus because of all the moisture.
