Cache County has a new Senior Citizen Director. Kristine Johnson, who has served as director of the Hyrum Senior Citizens Center for the past several years, was recently named as the new director.Cache County Executive Lynn Lemon says there were several good candidates for the job but Johnson rose to the top of the list. Lemon says her genuine love and concern for seniors and her desire to provide programs that help them have a better quality of life helped her beat out other candidates.Johnson, who replaces Tom Hogan in the position, started her new job on Monday, July 6th. Hogan abruptly resigned on May 12th after serving eight-and-a-half years as the center’s director.
