It’s harder to raise money during an economic crisis but the director of the USU Foundation says when the fiscal year ended on June 30, donations were actually up at the university.Patty Halaufia, who was also recently named Executive Director of Alumni Relations, says the comprehensive campaign continues to move forward and people are giving as much as they can. The goal is to raise $400 million by June of 2012 and $240 million is already in.In spite of the recession Halaufia says, “We will continue to meet with people and make more friends because once people see the value of Utah State University they want to make contributions.”
