Robert S. Horning has filed for a seat on the Logan Municipal Council. This is the second time around for Horning who also ran for a council seat in 2007 but was defeated in the primary election.A software developer and father of seven children, Horning says he says he still has the same concerns that he had two years ago. He feels the council is out of touch with its citizens.”There’s a continual eroding of personal liberties, just a constant need to tinker with the lives of the citizens of the city,” Horning says. “I believe that we need to have at least a voice on the city council that represents a desire and a belief to basically be left alone.”Horning will talk specifically about some of the issues he’s most concerned about Wednesday, July 15th when he’s a guest on KVNU’s 9:10 a.m. Crosstalk show.
