Uintah-Wasatch-Cache National forest managers are encouraging visitors who ride off road vehicles on National Forest Systems Lands to be aware of resource damage that can occur when recreating. Off road vehicles may only be used on roads, trails and areas that are designated for OHV use. Forest Supervisor Brian Ferebee says forest resources are particularly vulnerable when trails are wet, a common condition out on the forest land right now. Ferebee says responsible use of off-highway vehicles is the key to the future of motorized recreation on public land.
