Lt. Gov. Gary Herbert talks about landslide

Sunday afternoon, Utah’s Lt. Governor and soon-to-be governor Gary Herbert visited Logan to tour the area surrounding Saturday’s landslide that destroyed one home, damaged several others and likely left three dead. While addressing the media, Herbert talked about the potential need for state oversight of canals and offered his thanks to the volunteers who are helping clean up Logan’s Island neighborhood in the wake of the slide, as well as his condolences to the families who have been impacted by Saturday’s events.
