Jaycee Carroll signs with Spanish basketball team

Former Utah State University basketball standout Jaycee Carroll will be playing in Spain for the next two years. EuroCupBasketball.com is reporting that Kalise Gran Canaria has reached a contract agreement with Carroll, USU’s all-time leading scorer, for the next two seasons.Last year, Carroll played in Italy for BancaTercas Teramo, where he averaged 16.4 points and 4.4 rebounds a game.”I am happy that Jaycee will play for us for several seasons,” said Himar Ojeda, sporting director for Gran Canaria. “He is a player I like a lot … I’m happy that he chose us because after his superb season in Italy, he was a player sought by several European teams.”Ojeda made the comments to EuroCupBasketball.com.
