The Bear River Health Department is mourning the death of one of its own.Environmental Specialist Randy L. Wilde died unexpectedly Monday of complications from knee surgery. He was employed in the Box Elder County office but worked throughout the district on such issues as mosquito abatement and meth contamination. Health Department Executive Director Lloyd Berentzen described Wilde as a man of great integrity and an outstanding worker in his field.Wilde graduated from Utah State University with a major in environmental health and a minor in chemistry. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Perry Stake Center, 658 W. 2250 South in Perry.Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 East in Brigham City and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Perry Stake Center.
