Martha Archuleta has been named Associate Dean for Utah State Regional Campuses and Distance Education Wasatch Front Region. Archuleta most recently served as the department head of Family and Consumer Sciences and Extension Home Economics at New Mexico State University.She was drawn to Utah State’s distance education program by the opportunity to bring education from a land-grant university to people throuhout the state. As Associate Dean, Archuleta will provide administrative leadership for the USU Wasatch Front region center, which includes Salt Lake City and Orem.In addition, Archuleta will promote and facilitate expansion of research and educational programming in the Wasatch Front region.
