Construction is completed, employees have moved in and now it’s time to show off the new City Hall and Logan Police Department building.Logan Public Information Officer Teresa Harris says an open house will be held next Thursday from noon until 7 p.m.”There will be guided tours to take you through each building and the public will be able to see the utility billing, administration offices, the new council chambers and also in the police department dispatch center,” Harris said. “You can’t just walk in there, it will be kind of neat for people to see that area.”Harris said it will be a regular working day for city employees but they will be available to answer questions from those who attend the open house. She said employees like the fact that their offices are larger and more professional now. Also, Library Director Ron Jenkins said he appreciates that he has new space and has the whole building for the library whereas before he had to share the building with City Hall.
