It’s back to school Thursday for students in the Cache County School District. Cache County School Superintendent Steven Norton says he expects it to be a great year in spite of massive budget cuts. Norton says everyone–teachers, administrators and classified–all took a 4.2 percent pay cut but class sizes haven’t changed and no one was laid off. He says if the economy doesn’t improve the district will probably have to look at a reduction in force. For now, though, he says there’s nothing but excitement for another school year.
